MSN and Vodafone have recently announced their intentions of launching a seamless instant messaging service, between PCs and mobile phones. This service will allow users to seamlessly syncronize MSN Messenger on their computers, and Vodafone Messenger on their cell phones, and carry on instant messaging conversations in real time.

Vodafone customers will be able to conveniently add this service to their accounts, and pay for it along with their regular phone bills. MSN Messenger customers will pay for the service through special packages made available by Microsoft.

MSN and Vodafone are planning to continue working to bring together online instant messaging users with mobile messaging customers. They are working to integrate two of their two enourmous instant messaging companies more and more into the future.

With an expanded market, and greater integration capabilities, this promises to be a huge innovation for the instant messaging industry in general. Ultimately, it will benefit customers of both companies with a greater range of communication options.

No word yet on exactly how much this service will cost, but it is expected to be launched in several European countries before the end of this year.
