Major Shift in VoIP Testing Methods

As more and more telecommunications providers get in on the expanding VoIP market, they are faced with the difficult job of ensuring that IP calls sound as good as if they were going over a traditional telephone line. Several announcements by VON (Voice On Net) vendors over the past week indicate that the focus of this task may be switched from testing equipment in labs to monitoring the quality of live network calls.
