Mobile VoIP Agreement Reached in Finland
4:20 am on September 2, 2005 | Category: VoIP, Wireless TechnologyReports from Helsinki, Finland indicate that a final agreement has been reached regarding the transfer of cellular provider Saunalahti’s mobile phone traffic to the Elisa VoIP network. Saunalahti has recently been freed from a contract with TeliaSonera, which prevented them from sending mobile traffic over the internet.
The new agreement states that Saunalahti will work in cooperation with Elisa to develop new mobile VoIP solutions, which will allow for further future integration of the two types of technology.
