Sony Ericsson Introduces Wireless VoIP Headset
4:30 am on September 2, 2005 | Category: VoIP, Mobile DevicesSony Ericsson has just launched its new Bluetooth Headset HBH-608. In addition to its normal mobile phone functions, this new gadget is compatible with Sony’s VAIO BX and VAIO Professional notebook computers. The HBH-608’s integrated bluetooth technology allows users to talk hands free, without any annoying wires or traditional telephone equipment.
The wireless technology connects the headset with the laptop, enabling users to talk via VoIP telephony, and roam up to 10 meters from the computer itself without losing the connection.
The official news announcement claims that poor sound quality is not a concern, due to the acoustic construction of the speaker and microphone.
