Users Want Increased Battery Life in Mobile Devices
2:19 pm on September 27, 2005 | Category: Mobile DevicesIn a recent market research study spanning 15 different countries, the most desired feature by far in future mobile devices was increased battery life. 14 out of the 15 countries surveyed named “two-day battery life” as the feature that they would find most useful in cell phones and PDAs of the future.
Other features which respondents deemed important were high-resolution built-in cameras, 20+ Gigabytes of memory, and mobile text messaging services.
It makes sense, however, that increasing the battery life is the main thing that people want. Not everybody, after all, even uses of all the modern auxiliary features made available, but every single mobile device user in the world needs a reliable source of power.
