HP Releases New Wireless iPAQ PDA
12:16 am on October 10, 2005 | Category: Mobile Devices, PDAs, Wireless TechnologyHP has just introduced one of its most advanced PDA models to date. The iPAQ hx2790 has 144 MB of RAM, as well as built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology and dual expansion slots.
One of the most revolutionary features of the new device is its high tech fingerprint reader for user authentication. This allows for virtually foolproof security, and protection against unauthorized access of private files.
Many experts, however, don’t believe that fingerprint authentication is a necessary feature for the average user. For those who are looking for a more economical device, which doesn’t carry the hx2790’s hefty $649 price tag, other models in the hx2700 series may be worth a look.
