SBC to Provide Texan Credit Union with VoIP Services

12:59 pm on October 4, 2005 | Category: Business, VoIP

SBC Communications has just obtained a three-year contract to provide VoIP telephony and network services to Texans Credit Union, a non-profit financial institution based in Richardson, Texas.

All 26 branches of the credit union will use the SBC PremierSERV(SM) IP Telephony Advantage solution, among other SBC products, which cover voice, video, and data services. Having all of these services on the same network will allow for lower costs, improved efficiency, and simplified network management for the entire organization.

SBC will also provide Texans Credit Union with network integration solutions such as PremierSERV(SM) Staging, as well as consulting and project management services. This will help reduce the risk and complexity of adding multisite technologies, while enhancing the security of the network.
