Shortly after Cingular’s release of the first RIM BlackBerry device to run on EDGE high-speed data networks, RIM is already planning a similar launch in Europe.

Orange France has already agreed to sell the new BlackBerry 8700f, which features a powerful Intel processor, allowing for speedy email, text messaging, phone, and wireless web functionality. It also supports BlackBerry Enterprise Server, allowing business users to integrate multiple wireless email services.

The 8700f is a result of RIM’s recent partnership with Intel, to develop new EDGE-enabled BlackBerry email devices.

Orange plans to officially launch the new device sometime in Jaunary, but pricing details have not yet been made public.
