Research in Motion has just announced that the BlackBerry 8700r wireless handheld device will become available to Canadian consumers, starting on November 29th.

Rogers Wireless will be responsible for marketing the device to customers throughout the country.

The 8700r has been hailed as an excellent option for those who want all-in-one phone, email, wireless web, and data management capabilities. It runs on high speed EDGE network technology, which enables considerably faster data transfer rates than many similar products.
