Motorola Gives iTunes a Second Chance
7:13 pm on November 9, 2005 | Category: BusinessMotorola has announced plans to start selling a new iTunes-equipped model of its popular RAZR mobile phone later this year.
Although the ROKR phone has performed quite poorly so far, this latest move is an obvious attempt to combine the popularity of the America’s most successful line of phones with Apple’s iTunes software, and take another crack at the “music on the go” market. In short, Motorola is being tenacious on this one and refuses to give up on the partnership.
The new RAZR v3I will feature a 1.23-megapixel digital camera, as well as a stereo headset, and has a special mode optimized for safe use on airplanes.
