Until recently, 3G mobile phones have had a bad reputation as being heavy and ugly devices, but Motorola seems to be intent on changing that view, with sleek new phones like the V3x.

In terms of design, the V3x is fairly similar to the popular RAZR V3, yet it manages to squeeze in all the advanced features of any 3G device. The new phone supports two-way video calling, as well as the recording and editing of video footage on its high-resolution 320×240-pixel display.

The V3x also boasts 3D graphics, multimedia support, a 2-megapixel digital camera, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, as well as expandable memory of up to 512 MB.

This impressive new gadget, which combines a slim and attractive design with premium functionality, will be available to consumers beginning some time next month (December).
