Cell phone giant, Nokia has just revealed plans to boost its position in the corporate mobile email market by purchasing Intellisync, a wireless messaging and email management firm.

Terms of the buyout name a sale price of $5.25 for each share in Intellisync, giving the company a total implied value of around $430 million. Although some analysts say that this price is slightly over-inflated, that fact doesn’t seem to be any worry to the world’s largest handset maker.

The move will allow Nokia to strengthen its line up of mobile email products and services, while competing more effectively with competitors such as Research in Motion.
