Alltel and Nokia have recently announced that the Nokia 6235i mobile phone will be offered at Alltel stores across America, at a cost of just $69.99, with a two-year contract.
The 6235i handset features voice dialing and speakerphone capabilities, as well as a camera, video camcorder, and FM radio built right into the device. It also offers wireless infrared connectivity, allowing it sync with a wide variety of compatible PDAs, computers, and phones.
“The Nokia 6235i bar phone features a refined, slim design with chrome accents and a color display that customers will love,” said Wade McGill, who is AllTel’s vice president of wireless product management. “In addition, the Nokia 6235i phone is Alltel’s first handset that lets customers purchase ringtones and phone wallpapers without leaving the Mobile Web portal.”
“Alltel and Nokia are both recognized for delivering the highest level of quality, value and technology to consumers, and the new Nokia 6235i phone with Alltel service is a perfect example of this shared commitment to customer satisfaction,” said Nokia’s senior vice president of CDMA, Timo. “We’re excited to be working with Alltel to introduce the Nokia 6235i phone to consumers throughout their markets.”
