Honeywell Licenses GPS Patents to LG Electronics

American multinational, Honeywell has recently agreed to license two of its GPS-related patents to LG Electronics, in order to help improve the accuracy of their GPS devices.
The licensed patents are registered in the United States, and have counterparts in Canada, Europe, and Japan.
“This agreement with LG is a first step towards expanding our navigation business through strategic licensing arrangements,” commented Loria Yeadon, who is the CEO of Honeywell Intellectual Properties Inc. “We are pleased that LG has joined our licensing program.”
