5:10 am on December 14, 2005 | Category: Wireless Technology, Mobile Devices
Computer accessory manufacturer, Iogear has recently started offering a wireless Bluetooth adapter, which plugs into a standard USB port.
The devices are compatible with both Macs and PCs, and allow users to wirelessly sync their computers with Bluetooth-enabled wireless devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, and printers. Bluetooth 2.0 is the primary standard supported, but the adapters also offer backward compatibility with the Bluetooth 1.1 and 1.2 specifications.
Buying an Iogear adapter for as little as $39.95 is an excellent option for those who own older computers without built-in Bluetooth functionality.
