Motorola has recently teamed up with Verizon Wireless to launch the V3c, an improved version of its popular RAZR mobile handset.
This newly released 3.49-ounce Bluetooth-enabled phone is the first RAZR to run on a CDMA wireless network. It features a 2.2-inch color display, illuminated keypad, integrated speakerphone, and 30 MB of built-in memory.
Aside from the obvious benefit of CDMA compatibility, the V3c also offers greatly improved multimedia capability, including streaming video, 3D games, and MMS photo/video messaging.
As for data cabability, the V3c runs on Verizon’s EV-DO mobile broadband network, allowing for high-speed downloads of wireless web content.
This advanced new handset is available at Verizon’s website for a cost of $199 (with rebate and two-year contract). It is scheduled to hit retail shelves on December 12, just in time for Christmas.
