Motorola Purchases Wireless Networking Software Company

Cell phone giant, Motorola has announced its purchase of a privately held software company, by the name of Wireless Valley Communications.
The Texas-based Wireless Valley creates software for designing and managing Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and cellular wireless networks, as well as mesh networking solutions.
The company will now operate under Motorola’s enterprise division. It’s products will be marketed through several existing Motorola channels, including those targeted towards government and public safety organizations.
