Motorola to Launch First TETRA PDA

Motorola has announced the pending release of the first ever PDA to operate on the TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) network standard.
The new device is designed with the intention of allowing secure and reliable two-way data transfer while on the move. Some of the features that will available include Bluetooth and WLAN wireless connectivity, GPS capability, and a digital camera.
With its light weight, 3.5 inch TFT screen, reliable data transfer applications, and high quality security features, this PDA is an excellent choice for public safety and emergency organizations, which need quick access to real time information while on the move.
The official launch of this exciting new device is currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2006.
