With various new models of camera phones popping out all over the place, it appears that virtually every new mobile device that launches these days has some way of taking pictures. Once in a while, however, we see more serious photographic cell phones that manage to win over avid gadget enthusiasts hands down.

One such device is Nokia’s new N90 phone. It has a solid 2-megapixel image resolution, but that’s certainly not all this amazing little phone has going for it. It also features a high-quality Carl Zeiss optic lens, and advanced CMOS imaging chip, allowing for vibrant color and exceptional focus.

Design-wise, the N90’s screen and lens easily swivel to capture photos from almost any angle imaginable.

In addition to its capacities as a camera, the N90 features MP3 and AAC audio playback, and 31 MB of memory. It runs on the Symbian Series 60 operating system, and uses GSM and EDGE technology to place calls and transfer data.

The main drawback of this phone is its hefty price tag of US$699, but for the avid mobile photographer, its many market-topping features might make it hard to resist.
