America’s third largest wireless carrier, Sprint Nextel announced today that it has gained access to a $6 billion line of credit, which will last for at least five years.

The company has also secured a $3.2 billion loan to replace the borrowing arrangements of Nextel Communications, Inc., which was absorbed by Sprint earlier this year.

The terms of Sprint’s new financing arrangements are quite reasonable, and will allow the company to save about $18 million a year in borrowing costs.

    1. I am totally disatisfied with the servie of sprint ,I lost my sprint cellular phone and the sprint people will not let me buy a phone 1/2 priced, a refurbished phone . they sale them at rthe sprint store, only if your contract is over 1 year old – if not you have to buy a new phone $225.00 – I can’t afford a new one . so pay my bill -and no phone – or they destroy my credit.
