Everyone loves the convenience of storing music within their cell phones, but many people complain about the less-than-perfect sound quality of tiny cell phone speakers, or headphones.

A new solution from Altec, however, seeks to solve this problem by turning your Palm Treo into a fully-functional stereo.

The Altec Lansing iMT1 is a large docking cradle, which includes a built-in stereo-quality speaker that can be used to play music to your heart’s content, and also doubles as a speakerphone.

In addition to this, the Lansing iMT1 can exchange data with a PC via a USB 2.0 connection, and is an excellent all round device for anyone who wants their Treo to do a little something more.
