AT&T has joined forces with Avaya to provide a comprehensive managed VoIP solution to simplify enterprise migrations from traditional phone lines to IP telephony.

By deploying Avaya’s technology over the AT&T network, this solution will give customers a single point of contact for the design, implementation, operation, management, and maintenance of corporate VoIP networks. Users will get the added convenience of managing their VoIP infrastructure and services via AT&T’s BusinessDirect web portal.

Extensive customer support will also be provided with top-of-the-line customer support, including round the clock network monitoring, and access to experts from both companies via the AT&T Global Client Support Center.

The new solution is intended to help enterprise-level users make the transition to more cost-effective VoIP technology, as it evolves into a mainstream communication option for businesses.
