IDC Predicts Greater Wireless VoIP Deployment in Australia

Market research firm, IDC has recently made predictions that Australia will see a huge increase in enterprise-level wireless VoIP deployments over the course of this year.

IDC’s recent study, entitled: “Australia Wireless VoIP – On Trial in 2006″ foresees an increasing demand for the integration of VoIP into wireless networks. This will lead the mass-market availability of dual-mode GSM/Wi-Fi handsets, leading to increased integration of VoIP and cellular services.
