SanDisk Introduces 2GB miniSD Card for Cell Phones

SanDisk has recently expanded its line mobile phone products, with the introduction of a 2GB miniSD memory card. This doubles the 1GB capacity of its previous top miniSD card.

Creating this new high-capacity card is an obvious attempt to capitalize on the growing demand for storage of music, photos, and video footage on mobile phones.

The new card is co-branded with Verizon Wireless, and will begin selling in Verizon’s stores sometime next month, at a price of US$199.99.
