Just as Motorola announces its intentions to integrate Google into its mobile phones, Nokia has come to a similar arrangement with Yahoo.

The new Yahoo Go Mobile service will work on Nokia’s Series 60 phones, and allows users to better access Yahoo mobile search while integrating their photos, mail, and contacts with Yahoo. In the near future, the software will come pre-installed on all Nokia 6682 phones sold by Cingular Wireless.

The fact the world’s two largest handset makers and most popular search engines have created alliances will increase competition in both industries, while further binding the internet together with the concept of mobility.
