AT&T Undercuts Verizon DSL Pricing
6:15 am on February 6, 2006 | Category: Business, Web Services
Competition is increasing in the American broadband internet market, as AT&T Inc. undercuts Verizon to give customers the cheapest DSL service in the country.
AT&T has lowered their introductory price to $12.99/month for the first 12 months, for a yearlong contract. After the contract ends, the price automatically jumps to $29.99.
Verizon’s lowest price meanwhile, remains at $14.99/month, a price which doesn’t expire, but only delivers light high-speed internet access.
