TV and radio network, CBS Corp., said yesterday that it is planning to launch two new services for cell phone users, in the form of wireless news and entertainment alerts delivered directly to users’ mobile devices.

The new services will be called “CBS News TO GO” and “ET TO GO,” and be offered for a low monthly cost of $0.99 and $3.99 respectively.

Each subscriber will receive up to five alerts per day, which will include text, photo, and video content.

Both services are set to debut next week, and represents the latest step in CBS’s ongoing push into the mobile media marketplace.
