Google Offering Local Search on Mobile Phones

Google has recently extended its Local Search service to users of mobile devices, and the application is now being hailed as one of the best cell phone downloads out there.

Google Local for Mobile offers all the same features as the regular service for computers, including full maps, scrolling, satellite pictures, and directions to businesses in your area. There are even direct call links to automatically place calls to businesses that you locate.

With a flat and elegant interface, Google is doing their best to attract mobile users to the service. It can be downloaded by visiting www.google.com/glm.
