A recent study by Parks Associates predicts slowing internet adoption by customers in the United States.

Research shows that about 77% of American’s have some way to access the internet, meaning that the industry probably doesn’t have a lot more room to grow. 42% of the US population have broadband access in their homes, while 22% use dialup, and 13% use the web strictly outside of their homes.

Parks Associates predicts future growth of just 3% by 2009, a considerable slump from growth numbers in the past few years.
