O2 Launches BlackBerry 8700g in the UK

O2 has further extended its portfolio of BlackBerrys in the UK market, by launching Research in Motion’s new BlackBerry 8700g wireless email device.
The sleek and stylish new handheld features smoother performance, more memory, a better screen, and dedicated keys for voice calls. This effective all-in-one business tool comes with built-in Bluetooth connectivity, and 35 key QWERTY keyboard, and weighs just 134 grams.
“The BlackBerry 8700g is a great addition to the range of popular BlackBerry devices already available through O2. The enhanced features of this all-in-one device will appeal to both the business and individual user,” said O2 marketing director, Russ Shaw. “Providing users with all the capabilities needed to work efficiently when out of the office, the BlackBerry 8700g offers enhanced features to provide customers with a premium, fully integrated device for increased efficiency in 2006.”
