The T|X is Palms latest attempt to jumpstart the ailing standalone PDA market, and with the number of high performance features available at such a reasonable price, many gadget enthusiasts won’t be able to resist.

A large, high-resolution display is excellent for viewing pictures and videos, even thought the media controls are a bit frustrating. Music playback capability is another nice feature, along with good song management software, and high sound quality with headphones.

Dual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity make this a good device for surfing the internet, but the browser isn’t quite what it could by, due to the lack of scaling, and no way to view full web pages without scrolling horizontally.

All in all, the 312-MHz Intel Bulverde processor, 128MB of Flash Memory, and excellent selection of preloaded software make this 5.3-ounce PDA an excellent value for money.
