6:20 am on February 12, 2006 | Category: Mobile Devices, VoIP
Console maker, Nintendo, announced a new communication feature for its portable Nintendo DS gaming device.
Users of the device may now chat with each other over wireless VoIP connections, while playing games. The first game to include this feature will be the much-hyped adventure shooter game, Metroid Prime Hunters.
The new VoIP feature was formally introduced at the DICE tech conference in Las Vegas, by Nintendo’s executive vice president, Reggie Fils-Aime. It was revealed at the same time that the company would soon be offering free Wi-Fi gaming demos at retail locations across America.

Anthony, Thanks for your comment.
As it turns out, you’re right, there is still that one limitation on the service. Sorry for the mistake.
