Movie ticket seller, Fandango, has announced a deal with Ericsson, which will make it easy for wireless subscribers to buy movie tickets on their mobile phones.

This is Fandango’s third major partnership within the cell phone industry, after forging similar deals with Cingular and Sprint Nextel. The new agreement is different, however, in that it is integrated with movie trivia games and other types of movie content.

Users simply need to text message their ZIP code to FNDGO, in order to get a free list of local showtimes. They can then purchase tickets, and get them upon arriving at the theatre.

Fandango has agreed that the premium it charges on each ticket sold will be split with the wireless carrier.
