With mobile video, and internet video on demand technologies evolving and increasing in popularity with each passing day, the world of television syndication is being changed forever.

Television shows that used to take months or years to be syndicated onto other channels are now being transferred to whole new mediums in a matter of hours.

Major wireless carriers including Cingular, Verizon, and Sprint Nextel are now offering video content from NBC, ABC, and CBS the day after they air.

Internet companies like Yahoo and AOL are reaching similar deals to syndicate all-new television content over the web with next-day syndication times.

This kind of agreement just goes to show how much new technology is changing the way we enjoy media, and how eager cell phone and internet companies are to penetrating the advanced new broadcasting market. This effect will further increase as the years go by and technologies like mobile video become even more popular among consumers.
