6:00 am on April 23, 2006 | Category: Mobile Devices
Well-known model, actress, singer, and hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, has agreed to lend her likeness to a new series of video games for mobile phones.
The deal will allow Paris-based Gameloft to use an animated image of Hilton in a new game that is geared to teenagers, and set to be released sometime this summer.
The company wouldn’t immediately release the details of the game, but did say it would be part of a simple category that includes card games and puzzles.
“My phone has become an all-in-one entertainment device and mobile games are an integral part of that,” Hilton commented in a statement. “Mobile gaming is really hot right now and I’m excited to be part of this project.”
