Popular DVR provider, TiVo Inc., is about to start selling its first digital video recorder that allows users to record two different shows at once.

This fixes one of the major flaws with previous TiVo devices, which had only one tuner, and didn’t allow users to record two shows at once, nor watch one while recording another.

This has been a major shortcoming for the company in recent years, especially since most competitors offer a good selection of dual-tuner devices.

TiVo’s new and improved produce, the TiVo Series2 DT DVR, is set to be available on Monday at TiVo.com, and numerous retail outlets. It will hold 80 hours of programming, and cost $99, after rebate, plus $19.95/month for service.
