According to a study conducted by research firm, Complete, shoppers who bought cell phones online during the 2005 holiday shopping season, were willing to splurge a bit on the more advanced and expensive models.

The top ten list for the season consisted exclusively of mid- to high-priced handsets, and was topped off by the Motorola RAZR. Other popular models included Samsung’s SCH-a590 music phone, the Audiovox CDM-8910, and Nokia’s 6101 and 6102 Bluetooth-enabled handsets.

No free phones were included on the list, which suggests that online shoppers are willing to pay more for a feature-rich phone than those looking at cell phones in retail stores.
