South Korean handset maker, Samsung, has unveiled three new mobile phones aimed to compete with the wildly popular Motorola RAZR.
The X820, D830, and D900 all follow the same impressively slim design scheme, and are being firmly targeted at the American market.
The Samsung X820’s candy-bar body measures just 6.9 millimeters thick and weighs only 66 grams. It has a 2-megapixel digital camera build right in. The D830 is slim clamshell, weighing 85 grams, and featuring a 2-megapixel digital camera.
The D900, meanwhile, has a 12.9 millimeter sliding design, and includes a powerful 3-megapixel camera.
All three of these super-slim camera phones are expected to hit the U.S. market by the end of the year, in time for the 2006 holiday shopping season.
