Now that GPS technology is built in to the vast majority of mobile phones, more and more wireless carriers are rolling out location-based services.

Customers are now getting opportunities to pay a little extra for the ability to keep tabs on their children, and navigate city streets.

Market research agency, Frost & Sullivan predicts that the market for location-based services in the U.S. alone will grow enormously in the next couple of years to reach $600 million in 2008, up from just $90 million in December 2005.
