An increasing number of small businesses throughout North America are using wireless email solutions, due to the declining cost and improving quality of such services.

Many business owners and entrepreneurs see devices like the RIM BlackBerry and Palm Treo as a liberating way to stay on top of their business, while not being chained to their desks.

Professional quality “push email” solutions like the BlackBerry have fallen into the price range of $30 to $40 per month, and prices are expected to drop further due to the declining cost of server space, as well as increased competition in the market.

In addition to the email capabilities of the devices, business owners are also taking advantage of the many additional functions that make it easier to manage the logistics of a small business. These include such features as syncronized calendars, contact lists, and inventory control offerings.
