Logitech Produces a Truly All-in-One Remote

There are now quite a number of universal remote controls on the market. Some are a lot better than others, but all are designed to reduce the number of confusing devices you need to wrestle with.
Logitech has now taken this aim one step further with its 890 Remote, an easy-to-use yet technically sophisticated flicker that can be used to control not only home theater devices but also lights and household appliances. It is possible to alternate between different functions with only the touch of a button.
This product is clearly designed to appeal to a broad market, even those who are “digitally challenged.” A color LCD provides on-screen help functions as well as an easy set-up wizard.
At $399, this one might not be best for those on a budget, but it’s well worth it for the rich and disorganized. Overall, it is safe to say that the Logitech 890 Remote can provide a level of convenience that was virtually unimaginable just a few short years ago.
