America’s top DSL provider, AT&T Inc., has teamed up with Yahoo to launch a new web-based photo sharing service that features easy photo tagging, and a user-friendly desktop-like interface.
Users will be able to create Smart Albums, or online “playlists” of digital images that will automatically detect and include relevant pictures as they are tagged.
“Whether they are online photo-sharing enthusiasts, or first-time digital photographers, next-generation capabilities like tagging, search and comments will change the way millions of AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet subscribers enjoy their pictures online,” commented the director of Yahoo Photos, Will Aldrich.
The new service offers convenient integration with a variety of AT&T Yahoo internet services, including email and instant messaging.
