Keyspan, a maker of PC and Mac peripherals, has announced the launch of a new Cordless VoIP phone, which will work with Skype, and is set to begin shipping by the end of this month.

The phone’s 2.4-GHz radio receiver plugs into the USB port of any newer model Mac or PC, and allows for unrestricted use of the Skype VoIP service within 100 feet of your computer.

The handset has a button to open and close Skype, as well as a built-in LCD display to monitor which of your contacts are online at any given moment. It runs on three AAA batteries and allows for a talk time of up to 15 hours.
