PC maker, Lenovo, has just released a hot new laptop computer with built-in access to Cingular’s HSDPA cellular broadband network.

The newly released ThinkPad T60 is clearly designed with mobility in mind. This durable 1-inch thick computer weighs just 4.8 pounds, and includes a built-in BroadbandConnect mobile data card, allowing Cingular Wireless subscribers to access the internet at lightning fast speeds in 21 HSDPA-covered metropolitan areas throughout the United States. Somewhat slower EDGE and GPRS internet service is available in most other areas.

“ThinkPad users can now enjoy wireless broadband Internet access via the Cingular BroadbandConnect service without needing a separate PC card or additional hardware,” said Lenovo president, Scott Smith.

The ThinkPad T60 is now being sold at Lenovo’s website, while unlimited HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS internet access is being offered by Cingular Wireless at a cost of $59.99/month.
