Time Warner Cable has announced the launch of PhotoShowTV as a free bonus for all digital cable and Road Runner high-speed internet subscribers.
Developed by Simple Star, PhotoShowTV allows users to create slide shows with digital photos and video clips, then show them on a TV screen, and publicly share them with other subscribers over Time Warner’s Video-On-Demand network.
“By converging our digital-cable and high-speed-online service, this new feature brings sharing the family photo album to a whole new level and gives users the opportunity to put their favorite photos and video clips on TV,” said Time Warner’s senior VP of on-demand product management, Bob Benya, in a statement.
