Finnish cell phone giant, Nokia, has unveiled a powerful new addition to its popular line of N-Series multimedia handsets.

The newly introduced N95 will have a unique 2-way sliding design, allowing its screen to rotate almost 360 degrees, and transforming it from a candy bar phone to a portable mobile computer. It will come pre-equipped with GPS functionality, and a high-quality 5-megapixel digital camera.

Other features include a microSD memory card slot and mini USB port, several conveniently placed control buttons, and support for “high-speed mobile networks.”

Nokia plans to promote the N95 as an all-in-one “multimedia computer” – the only mobile device that customers will ever need.

“This single device – which fits easily in your pocket – can replace stand-alone devices that you no longer need, whether it’s your music player, your digital camera, PDA or navigation device, ” according to Nokia’s executive VP of multimedia, Anssi Vanjoki. “Most importantly, the Nokia N95 is with you and connected when you want to use it.”
