Verizon Communications has expanded its fiber optic IPTV and broadband services into four Massachusetts towns to the north of Boston, bringing the total number of communities that it serves in the state to ten.
Customers in Hamilton, Stoneham, Wakefield, and Wenham may now subscribe to either fiber optic broadband or IPTV, or bundle them together with the Verizon Freedom Value unlimited calling for $104.85/month.
In the months to come, Verizon hopes to expand its FiOS services into a number of new markets throughout Massachusetts. It has already successfully negotiated 15 cable franchise agreements in the state, and is currently working on 40 others.
