BellSouth to Resell Avaya’s Enterprise VoIP Products
6:10 am on October 6, 2006 | Category: Business, VoIPU.S. telephone provider, BellSouth Corp., announced this week that it will begin reselling Avaya’s IP telephony products to business and enterprise-level customers.
This makes Avaya the third VoIP vendor to be supported under BellSouth’s IP telephony services portfolio, after Cisco and Nortel. Some of the products covered by the deal include Avaya’s MultiVantage Communications Applications, one-X Mobile, IP Office, and Professional and IP Support Services.
Adding Avaya’s products should be a big help to BellSouth’s IP telephony business, allowing it to act as a single point of contact for businesses that also use products from Nortel and Cisco.
