CNET Networks Inc. has announced plans to make its own foray into the internet video market by launching its own niche broadcasting service for technology news and product reviews.

The popular tech portal’s content will be available on its own CNET TV website, as well as through Verizon’s Video-On-Demand IPTV service.

CNET already has deals in place with Cox Communications and TiVo Inc., extending the reach of its service beyond just the computer screen, and is likely hoping to further expand its potential audience in the future.
