T-Mobile Announces Free Wi-Fi Internet Service for Sony Mylo Users

T-Mobile has teamed up with Sony in the U.S. market, agreeing to offer free wireless internet service to users of the Sony Mylo device.

The promotions, which begins in the middle of November, is open exclusively to Mylo users, allowing them to connect to T-Mobile’s Wi-Fi hotspots at absolutely no charge, for up to one year. Users of the device will be able to activate their service at www.sony.com/mylo.

T-Mobile Wi-Fi is currently available at over 7000 HopSpot locations across the U.S., including many Starbucks coffee shops, Borders Books stores, Kinko’s Office locations, and Print Centers, as well as some Novotels, airport clubs, and Hyatt Hotel outlets.

At a cost of $350, the Mylo is being described as a cheap and convenient way for the light traveler to get online wherever they happen to be.
